Guage sender installations

I installed the transmission temperature sender in the deep pan I installed. The water temperature sender was much more challenging. I searched all over the engine for a plug or fitting to use. I couldn't find anything. I had a similar delima with the sender for my Nomad and I had to make a Tee fitting, which worked well. I decided to do the same thing here. I decided to put the fitting here. It is easy to get to, has smaller water lines, and has flow full time. Here is the adapter fitting. It uses 1/2" NPT x 5/8" hose adapter fittings which are hard to find. I ordered them from Fittings For Less. Here is the fitting in place. I'll have to run a ground wire to the assembly.
