2010 Pigeon Forge Jeep trip
Epilogue

Traveling by yourself is different. Not sure which I like better. Just depends why you're traveling I guess.

Sitting on a porch on a cabin on the side of a mountain is a great way to unwind and clear your head.

All women are evil...well...maybe not all of them.

I prefer the Goldwing to the Jeep.

Other than the cruise control issue the diesel Jeep performed flawlessly. 24.6 mpg for the trip.

Coming home the day before work isn't so bad in winter. There's no grass to mow.

The days are too short in winter.

A couple people have read this trip report and wondered if I was still hung up on my old girlfriend, Sarah. She's a great kid, but no. We came to Pigeon Forge three times and there are lots of good memories down there. If I went to Las Vegas I'd have precious memories of another girlfriend. If I was in Indianapolis/Louisville/Lafayette memories of a different girlfriend would be on my mind. My life is a collection of memories. Some I share. Some I keep to myself. Smiles to all the girls who have shaped my life. Despite the occasional pain I can't complain.

Just one question. Where to go next? Stay tuned!

See you on the Highway!
